Quiés q'andemos - intensivo de tango (quiesqandemos)
This event, called Quies q'andemos, is an inviting invitation to tango lovers to walk together and share an unforgettable experience in the heart of magical Salamanca, a city steeped in history and recognized as a World Heritage Site. We celebrate our passion for tango in an unparalleled setting.
Quies q'andemos is an intimate gathering where equality and respect are paramount. It's not a marathon, though you'll have many hours to enjoy dancing; nor is it a typical milonga, but we focus on quality and respect for the milonga's traditions; nor is it a typical festival, even though we've designed activities that will allow you to enjoy yourself beyond the dance floor.
How to classify it? Quies q'andemos is an intensive, comprehensive experience where dance, community, and art merge to create something truly unique. Our philosophy is based on quality and warmth. Therefore, we are committed to a gender-equal experience, ensuring that the dance floor in the Salón de las Pinturas at the Colegio Mayor Arzobispo Fonseca maintains a balanced and fluid energy at all times.
Dancing in Salamanca during Quies26 means immersing yourself within the walls of a Renaissance palace and an 18th-century ballroom. At Quies q'andemos, we have designed an all-in-one experience: you will dance, sleep, and eat in the same historic venue. We want every participant to feel part of the city's history while enjoying the best tandas.
This intensive tango workshop seeks to recapture the essence of the social embrace. The magic of Salamanca and the power of tango await you at this edition of Quies26; you have the perfect excuse to meet us and dance. Get ready to walk the embrace with us!
